If You Just Bought This Shell...

I've not been on here in a long time, over a year or so. My first mini, and first car, ended up being broken for spares.
She was a British Open Classic in lovely British Racing green. Unfortunately a previous owner had bodged the hell out of her, and what started as a sill replacement quickly turned into a full blown restoration, which I couldn't afford. K518GWR is her reg. The shell was sold to a bloke near Newcastle, with the intent of him to restore it.
The shell appeared on ebay recently and sold today for a total of £90. Link below as I can't seem to upload photos on the mobile site.
PLEASE get in touch with me if you, or any of the people you know, bought this shell. No, it isn't stolen, no, I don't want to buy it off you, nor would I ask to. My sole purpose here is just to touch base with you in the hope that one day I'll at least see a photograph of my first little car brought back to life. It broke my heart seeing that poor mini in worse state than it left me. It's a long shot I know, but I'm hopeful someone will be in touch.
Please please please do pm me if you know the person who has just bought this car:

Thank you to everyone in advance, and apologies to mods if this is in the wrong place.
Paddy.

Am I missing something obvious... How do you know it's your old car/shell?

I recognise the shell due to the yellow primed patches on the sides. These were done by a bodge-merchant garage in Darlington claiming to be a mini specialist. He said he had done the sills and repaired etc. We cut the sill off and it had a fitted stamp dating to 2001. But anyway. I know it's my shell from those patches, and I recognise the name of the ebay seller. It's definitely my old girl, unfortunately in much worse state than when it left my hands, as he's stored it outside with a gaping hole in the roof where the old webasto used to be.
Thank you,
Paddy.

The bloke is now also illegally selling a Vin plate and a v5 (with a mini engine) - reported to ebay.
