Just sold some rear quarter windows from my mk1 mini what was rotten and hinges dropped of.he just come around and collected them and I asked what you doing with them he said ile restore them I go out buying them and restoring them he gets the hinges re pinned and welded up and for pitted chrome he uses tin foil and diet coke he showed me and it really works! Anyway I had to ask what would these be worth once you have restored them he said I will get 3 to 400 for them. And I just sold them for 50. gutted!

diet coke and tin foil keep scrubbing until pitting has gone and then use normal chrome polish to finish them of. as he said..
