carpart4less IS EuroCarParts! It's their internet only outlet and often does 20% or more off ECP parts prices (depends on offers running at time)

I run a 72 mini, and a 71 minor van, neither get used much, so I use one of these http://www.halfords....battery-charger on whichever one I'm using least. Nice to always start fully charged!

I switched to Powervamp (racing) batteries some time ago. They are great: very light and better cranking.

Does the euro parts one definitely fit as the measurements are 175 wide and just measured the battery box (with the battery still in there) and it looks like only just 175 max!

I noticed yesterday when I popped over to Minispares in Oldbury that they are selling batteries for the Mini at just £35 ;-)

Battery codes are standardised.  An 075 battery is an 075 battery, doesn't matter who makes it.  To be an 075 it has to have the same dimensions and terminal layout as all others, just like an AA battery is an AA battery.  075 batteries fit the box, as do any listed for the Mini obviously.

Picked up the battery from Europarts today, it's snug but fits a treat and certainly spins it over, never started so good! thanks for the info.
