Hey TMF's, Old Blyty is currently with the Minisport team having some engine mods. I'll get him back on Saturday with a full rolling road readout.

Standard spec produces 39bhp and 69nm (or 51 ft-lb) of torque

What should I expect with the following spec?

1978 Manual 998cc (24,000 miles)
Stage 1 Kit
HIF 38
K&N Pancake Air Filter
Piper 255 Camshaft
Vernier Lightened Timing Kit

Would love to hear your estimates, and I will post the actuals on Sat! 👍

998 cooper is 55bhp on 98 Ron petrol so dependant upon spec of head and fuel type tuned for then somewhere between 45 and 55bhp

Does 98ron fuel make any noticeable difference?

Will allow a little more ignition advance during your r/road session

If their RR  does actually show 39 bhp from a std 998, then doing all the mods listed I'll go for 50 bhp and 80 nm
