I've tried those and the Valley Rubber ones.   They both felt the same, but I got very poor life from the Avon Moulton branded ones.

Personally, I think the Red Spots are too stiff for road use.

Well, now I've tried what's out there, I always go for the Valley Rubber ones, which apparently when traced back are as close to OEM as you'll get as well.

apart from the m-parts ones which are actually made using the original equipment and to original specifications... on reading another thread, Valley Rubber use to have the machine, but since then has moved on to m-parts via other manufacturers

I've had red spot cones on my daily for about 6 years and I think they are great.  They also seem to have a good life to them.

minispares told me there a harder ride and gota cut hilo down

im confused what to get, phoned up local mini place not far from me

they said rover ones with M on them are £40 which sounds reasonable

I don't know if this may help (or make matters worse!), here's a Graph of some tests I did a little while back;-

RubberConeTests06a_zps18d90f52.jpg

NOTE that while this Graph only goes to 31 mm deflection, the suspension will (theortically) go to 44 mm defelction (at the cone itself), just with the test rig I have, I wasn't willing to take the Red Spots any further than that as it showed me what I wanted to know.

Thanks for the update on that, it's hard to keep up at times.
