Having fitted a 1275 into a Scamp, Having problems clearing the Bulkhead with an HIF44, is there an adjustable engine steady I can use tilt the engine away from the bulkhead or do I have to make one up?

Hi.
From what I have read on here the ERA turbo Minis came from the factory with adjustable engine steadies, similar ones are available here

I haven't tried one myself but hope the carb will clear OK on mine now I have modded the bulkhead. The only problem with tilting the engine is that the other standard brace bars going from the gearbox to the subframe might need to be adjustable as well if you have them fitted, would it be easier to cut the bulkhead out a bit ?
I noticed on my Scamp there wasn't a huge amount of room between the engine and front panel which might cause some trouble.
Got any pictures of you Scamp ?

I was looking at these this morning, many firms sell them , Minispeed for a cheapy, DSN for a nice one, KAD for top of the range.

Yup - that's the one. I had the same issue. The other option is to remove the manifold/carb space if it's still fitted.
