Man, we need to move to Australia! You have dry conditions, receive parts in 3 days, don't get charged customs on parts and have some seriously cool minis :)

Oh yeah the mk1 golf was manufacture in South Africa as the CITI golf till 2011. It was the budget car for the country and received all the upgrades from the other models... crap can't talk about VW cars here...

I am getting new wheels due yo not really liking these. Dad said the look nice but i am not convinced also there no 10 Inch so not really my style so i am going to be buying some 6x10inch (Maybe StarMags but haven't decided) So to make it Roadworthy in AUS the wheels have to be under the arches so i believe i need to get some new ones but i don't know what arches will fit. If you know please let me know :)

so just went down to the body shop to see the progress and drop of my new flares and also some other bits and pieces. so far they have been making some custom patch panels for some of the small little rust holes in and around the body and have also cut out the front right 1/4 panel. i am happy so far with the progress it been there for just under 2 months now and i am hoping to get some more photos when i go down there in the next couple of weeks.
