Hello all just a quick post I need to sell some of my collection.

And one of them is a very very clean saxo vtr with a lot of very tasty mods on it :) (not Chavy) I promise.

I need it gone ASAP! It's a very honest motor and first to see will buy.

I am after 1000 ovno! :)

Hello all I'm looking at selling my saxo vtr, I'm only selling it as I'm using the money to turbo my classic mini!

The car is very clean and honest and is not Chaved up (ok it's a saxo) but a nice one! :)

I'll list the stuff that the cars got, and it has been lowered on coilovers but had a new upgraded rear axle to deal with it :)

The car was previously owned and done by Chris B so I was told, for those that don't know he is well known in the French car world as one of the go too guys for modifieing and engine conversions in mainly French cars, and may even own a race team? I'm not that in the know with French cars as I'm more a mini or jap guy

SAXO VTR 1.6 8v £1000 ovno

100k miles
Mot February 15
No tax (new laws)
Loads of service history and receipts etc.

CHASSIS
Baker BM group N engine mounts and gearbox mounts, including poly gearbox fork buffer.
IM axles oilite rear beam with polybushes.
GAZ GHA coilovers.
Citreon c1 alloys with good rain tyres

BRAKES
266mm brakes up front.
Braided lines front and rear.
DOT 5 fluid.

ENGINE/DRIVETRAIN
Piper 4-1 stainless manifold, supersprint centre section and jam racing.
Poly exhaust hangers/mounts.
Vts gearbox.
New valeo clutch kit.
OBP quickshift.
Kam racing adjustable linkages.

INTERIOR
Phase 1 cloth 106 gti seats with matching grey cloth door cards.
OMP 300mm steering wheel and D1 spec snap off boss.

All of this make the car vibrate a lot but the rewards are simply amazing!

I wonder what the insurance would be for me on that saxo. I'm looking at selling my mini soon as I need something newer. Something like this would be a nice replacement, it's just the insurance that might be a killer.

I have an original mini 25, I want about 3k for it. I'm going to check out how much insurance would be for me on your Saxo later on.

to be honest mate even though the saxo is a lot more modern, and faster you will always regret selling your mini....

Yes I know but my living circumstances are going to change soon and I will no longer have and garage or even a driveway. I'll let someone else have some fun with it as I have done for the last 5 years.
