Hi Guys, just   a quick query regarding  electrics / ignition match up. I am putting a 1275GT engine (not sure what  year engine is ) into my 88 Mayfair. Do I have any problems re. compatibility with type of ignition system ?  Did the two have the same set up, I think the mayfair had a ballast resistor ,same with the 1275 ? If not ,what kind of mods do I have to make. Electrics aren't my thing ! Thank-you ,Ferg

No issues you can run the ballast ignition system in the car unless you choose to use the O.E Lucas 65D4M electric distributor, in which case it just means running a new 12v ignition feed from the White wire on fuse 1and using a 12v coil.
