Mine were so dirty it took ages to clean them so I wire-brushed them afterwards, wiped them down and gave mine a quick blast of Rover Platinum Silver. Surprised at how well it came out :D

I painted mine black, looks good when clean and hides the dirt when not!

I do love a white block, will be very high maintenance though.

It's light admiralty grey (like a light duck egg blue).

 

Got a 500ml tin off eBay a couple of years ago, also painted my drums and callipers with it, it's lasted ages.
