I was thinking of converting my single centre speedo to a gt clubman dash. I was just wondering if it's a straight forward swap. I can get all brackets and blanking plate. I was just wondering about wiring maily. Thanks in advance

You'll need to get hold of an old loom from a later model, salvage the multi plug that plugs into the back of the 3 pod instrument cluster and then splice it into your loom. You'll also need a new speedo cable, as the cable for the behind steering wheel pods are longer and have different fittings.

Ok well it's still fitted to a mini being broke so I can get the speedo cable. Shall I get as much loom as possible then?

You should only need the multi plug and sufficient wiring to reach across to behind the steering column. But if it's going spare, then I'd take the whole loom anyway. An old loom is always a useful thing to have, if only to use for correctly coloured lengths of donor wiring.
