I've just acquired this....

It's a pretty complete car, got weather gear, looks solid.

Been off the road since 1993 when the engine was swapped(still not finished and is only really resting in the car)

Needs a rad/carb/dizzy exhaust manifold

I've got the keys and on the V5 its down as being "Rebuilt" and is a red pick up so that's correct

Brakes aren't siezed, interior is a bit grim/tatty!!

I'm probably going to keep the wheels as they are in excellent condition and worth a fair bit on their own. So it would come on a set of 10" steels

I've got an idea of value in my head but I just want to see what other people think?

I have no idea of their value but I would only pay £200-£300 for it.

£800-1200 probably. A genuine scamp (registered as a Scamp) is worth quite lot for what you get.

As it's not registered as a Scamp, I think the smaller figure is likely... or it's down to the sum of its parts...

Yeah, I thought about a grand. It's a 998 as well.

Not my cup of tea but people do like them

It is down as being rebuilt on the v5 so it's at least been registered with Dvla and is not just on a standard mini v5.

The reg number is also pretty interesting as well.

Did you sell this in the end ? I sent off to the DVLA to find out my Scamps previous history. I got it back and although it doesn't say Scamp on the logbook now it did originally. Somewhere along the line the DVLA have just left it off.
