hi. im looking for a new wiring loom for my 79 850. its got the 3 clocks in the middle of the car. mini spares says the loom is front only. where else can I get a loom from that will be the whole lot. any links to the right one would be helpful. Thanks David

The looms are split, front to rear. There is a joint at the base of the A pillar otherwise you wouldn't be able to thread it through the car. You need a front loom and a rear loom. Even if you buy a set marketed as a complete loom it will be one of each in a bag. Rear looms changed spec far less often so the one you need might not be listed for the same years as the front one, it will cover a bigger range. Try Autosparks for options though, they make the looms most people sell..

understood. mini spares didn't seem to have the rear one for me is all. sounds like the OP's issue as well. Was nice to have the whole lot in one buy.

Bought mine from Autosparks (87 Mayfair) Good quality, no complaints.

The original I took out today hasn't got a joint in it at the a pillar. I just fed it through the pillar and roof. With a peice of rope so I can pull the new one through easier. Or have they changed now there after market

The rear loom connects into the main loom in the engine bay area near the wiper motor with a number of bullets.
To have removed it you must have disconnected it.... or did you pull it through the fire wall after removing from the roof pillar?
