Hi all,
Just about to lower a new lump in the car, will I be able to get the pot joints/driveshafts into the gearbox/diff without undoing the hub nuts/ball joints/discs etc?
Thanks in advance.

no, you need to undo the top ball joint and split it, then pull the hub outwards so that the new engine can be put in, then push them back in when its in:)

Just takes a fair bit of pulling and shoving but they will go in, if the engine is still on the crane its easier as you can move the engine about.

So for the reverse of this. I should be able to remove my engine by cutting the clips on the pot joint boots and just jiggle the engine a little as I lift?
