Im about to take posession of an old TE20 (TVO model for anyone in the know). Does anyone have any experience with vintage tractor insurance? Any recommendations?

A photo of the old girl for those interested:

That Fordson looks a bit of a beast compared to a little grey fergie!

Ive had a bit of bad experience with Footman James. They cancelled my policy mid-year because of my age at the time. Ill give NFU a try.

Yeah it's a bit of a beast. Wasn't easy trying to rebuild it in a garage!

is it the diesel or petrol version? looks like someone has done a cracker wee job on that :) In work I got given the job of re-building the engine for one of these in a diesel version and get it driving for a customer. Of course, I had to take it for a test drive so check everything worked, it was great fun and I want one soon :)

is it actually going to be used as a tractor or is it being retired? :)

Its actually a petrol-paraffin mix engine (TVO). The heatshield on the exhaust manifold is the give away.

Both the TE20 and the TE35 in the background are show tractors. My sister and I are getting them from my granddad who rescued them from a scrapyard and restored them in the early 90s. He also gained and restored a few implements which have been used while showing them.

Unfortunately he has recently become terminally ill and he would like to see them in our possession before he dies.
