Castrol Gtx 20W/50

Hey guys, I own a 1977 998cc mini clubman, I live in a tropical country, I time now do do a oil change, just want your experts opinions of using castrol gtx 20w/50 engine oil..  I coose this as its readily available and cheap over here. do you recommended it? Is it suitable?

Castrol will 20W50 will be fine.  It is one of the two oils I regularly use in my British cars.

That should be fine for your car.  You need a mineral 20w50, not a synthetic, so just check that the GTX is a mineral oil. It certainly used to be, but if it is synthetic you need the Castrol Classic 20w50 which is definitely a mineral oil.
