If you are referring to TMF+ then the membership entitles you to discounts at many of the leading Mini parts retailers as well as other discounts that are offered by some of the Traders on TMF.

 

Discounts vary between retailers but are typically 7.5%

How do I become a member

It's really simple.

 

The instructions are assuming you are using a computer and not a Phone.

 

At the top of the page, you will see your username. If you click on it you will get a menu which contains 'my profile' and 'my content' etc etc.

 

You need to click on 'Purchase subscription' and follow the details through.

 

Once paid for and you are a member, you will have an additional section available to you called 'TMF+' which has sub forums within that will inform you of how to and where you can get the discounts from.

Ok, so it's the right thing to do supporting the forum, but the detail is a bit vague. minispares (not oldbury) is well documented as offering a forum discount, but who and what are the other traders offering ?

Maybe one of the sticky threads from TMF+ could be moved to Mini Chat to inform people what they can get by becoming a member.

I can't remember all of the companies or any now that I come to think of it. But if you spend £100 in a year at Minispares you will save £7.50. That's already more than the membership cost of £5. If you are serious about Minis there really isn't a good reason not to join!
