a small lake has appeared in our back garden where our lawn use to be and our dog is coming with his muddy paws. I probably need a soakaway of some description. anyone had this problem?

Not a lake in the garden as such, but we have a brook that runs alongside our property which likes to overflow when it rains for long periods of time.

Bloody highways agency only do a half-arsed job of clearing it and last Christmas, it overflowed badly and flooded our house really badly.

Whatever you need to do to stop your garden from flooding - DO IT!

I wouldn't want my worst enemy to go through flooding, it is the worst thing that has happened to me and my family.

Good luck!

Ben
