Hi,

 

I need some new boot hinges and I can't decide if I should go chrome or body coloured. I've heard that body coloured will be better protected but I like the look of chrome. The ones on the minispares web site say they take a lot of looking after. Does anyone know of a) any generally good quality hinges and b) good chrome ones that will last more than a couple of years.

Maybe chrome paint is a solution?

You could always try and track down some stainless steel ones, not sure if the well known mini suppliers sell them though, you have to do some digging.
