I'd keep it standard but I'd add a discreet, black on white No 52 somewhere to each side. It'd tie in nicely with your number plate
I will get round to doing that eventually I promise! Thanks for reminding me, must get those made up.
Depends on your taste and future plans. Are you keeping her original? If not, I personally like the clean look. That being said, I do like originality.
I love the clean look too, that's why I was contemplating taking them off. Plus the original Mk.1/2 Coopers never had bonnet stripes, so I thought it would be good to take it back to basics like they were.
I want to keep it mostly original appearance-wise. In the short term I plan on doing some suspension work, nothing major, in the long term who knows... I would love to go to 10x7s one day, but that will be a long way off.

10s is not the answer to every mini related question! There is only one Sportspack I have seen with 10s that looked good, and that was Mini_Magics a few years back. I actually think the Sportspack wheels really suit the Sportspack arches better than another wheel. I have seen a couple of deep dished wheels that come close, but the Sportspack 'pack' works best together - all in my humble opinion which means very little!
As for the pics, either A or C for me. The clean look v the sports look. If I had to choose just one, I think on that car I would keep the stripes. Or the other option is silver roof and stripes.

Haha I know, personally I love the way 10s look under Sports Pack arches when they're done right. Plus they will improve the ride and handling a fair bit compared to the 13s. Do you have any pics of that one? Can't seem to find any.
Edit found one:
I take it these are 6x10s?

To me that looks great as is, they fill the arches better than the Sports Packs IMO because you can set the ride height lower. I was contemplating 6x10 Mambas - what does everyone think of those on a Sports Pack?

I think the trouble with sporstpack arches and 10 inch wheels is that you struggle to find a big rang of 10's which have a large enough negative offset to really fill out the arches.

Because it's a cooper I'd go with A

Do you have any idea what sort of offset I'd be needing to fill out the arches similar to the car above? As I mentioned, I think Mambas would look nice but I'm unsure if they'd have the right offset.

I don't have sport pack arches, but my are more or less the same width. These are 10X6 but with a Et -15. mambas have an Et -7 so they will stick out 8 mm less.
fill the arches quite well:
this member has used those wheel with sports pack arches -
