You might find .030" pistons, but they aren't as common now.

 

1275 pistons also need the gudgeon pin pressed out/in, so you'd need to give them to your engine specialist to replace.

+0.040" is 1310 cc. It's +0.030" which give 1301 cc, if you can find a HC set anywhere.

Just to check, can you tell reason for the scoring of the bores?

 

Reason for asking is that one cause of scored bores in 1275 engines can the press-fit gudgeon pin working loose. If this happens then you can get vertical scoring down both sides of the affected bore starting about 1.5 inches down from the block top face.

 

If the scoring looks like this you will need to replace the conrod in affected cylinder(s) as well as a rebore, otherwise it will happen again.
