Which Electric Radiator Fan?

I've read all about the overheating problems on the L2B.
So I was thinking of putting an electric fan to aid the cooling.
Which have people got?
Do I get one with the thermostat switch or wire it to a manual switch?
Thanks in advance boys!

I would use a simple switch via a relay. The puller fan would need to be mounted on the outside of the N/S/F wing. If you don't fancy using a switch. you can buy a thermostatic switch, and you can alter the temp in turns on using a dial. If your car is overheating easily could you not use a lower temp thermostat?
I pulled my electric fan, and the associated bits out after a while though, I only drive my car locally 99% off the time, so it was useless.

Hi, it's not that she's overheating, I just thought prevention is better than cure.
I knew people at London to Brighton that were overheating in the queue.
The switch seems to logical way, seems easier i guess. But the stat on fleabay looks good.
Thanks Hun. X

I have a Kenlowe fan mounted onto the face of my ally radiator, well I used to, but following a water pump failure I forgot to re-install it. It runs off a simple manual switch. I changed the thermostat at the same time as the water pump to an 82, it was an 88, and it obviously runs cooler. But what I do notice is with no fan in the way when I am running 99% of the time with it off, things stay much cooler, as if the fan itself was causing less air to pass through. I run a 1293 custom dual point s/c setup and things get mighty hot!
