Hi guys,

I have a problem with my Rover Mini: we lost the remote control of the immobilizer and we can't start the engine.

What are my options to make immo off for this calculator?

At this time, I do not have any other remote control, but I know the pin code of the calculator.

The car is MPI from 1999.

Andrei

You could try this website to obtain a new fob, not cheap but will sort your problem out, or give them a call they may be able to help in other ways.

Dear Ruby,

Thanks for your fast response. I didn't find a international phone number where to call, but I wrote an email to them.

If anybody knows other solution, please write on topic.

Regards.

I would like to ask if someone used this kind of product:

http://www.alarmremo...co.uk/id67.html

or

http://www.remotekey...ver/rover-mini/

It is 100% sure that it will work?

These work on the principle that the 5AS alarm unit (the black box) has four slots and this programs the next blank slot (usually slot 3) with the key they supply, so yes they work unless all four slots are filled with key fob IDs (unlikely)
