Hi Everyone,

I have just stumbled across this forum lookin gfor tips on buying a mini. I have never owned a mini before and have no knowledge about them but am thinking of getting 1 for my next car which will prob be around christmas so I want to get to know about them so as to know what to look for.

Any hints or tips on buying one, average prices, best place to buy one, etc would be much appreciated.

Good luck finding yourself a mini

As for a good place to get one from...Keep a look out on the forums the best ones are normally sold that way as they are owned by proper mini enthusiasts

I would also advise you against getting one that's been tarted up a lot ie alloys, fancy paint, buckets etc unless you can be sure the body work and engine are good as they are far more important than 'stick on' bits
