Removing Stone Chip/guard Stuff?

I know I've read how to do this before but can't find I despite searching. I took the interior bitumen off using a hammer and chisel. What's the best way to get the stuff off that's on the underside of the floor. Thanks

Twisted wire cup will remove it although a bit messy.

I used a sharp wood chisel with no heat, chips off nicely. Some people prefer to heat it up.

Alex stonechip does not "chip off" he already has the bitumen off.

Thanks for the responses. I attacked it with an electric heat gun and a scrapper, it was a not too bad. Funny to see where Rover had protected and missed :)

I will continue next weekend...
