Just getting a ticking noise when starting up.
happened after mistake of trying to start while in gear.
Ideas please..?

Solenoid clicking ? Flat battery ?

Could be a lose wire at batty end or starter stuck out stick it in 3rd And rock the car back and forth a few times with handbrake of then out of gear and try start

Check your engine earth strap and your battery earth . Give your solenoid a light tap with something to see of its stuck .
