1992 Rover 1275 Mini with the standard in-line heater valve (black plastic), which is leaking a bit.

Have read in different forums that the current new valves are having a quality issue, hence not performing as it should be (they start leaking after a short while).

Question; is there another type of in-line heater valve (with the same dimensions for the hose connection) in the market ?

Thanks.

My new valve never leaked again it just would not turn off. I purchased one of these and it is reliable and fits in place.

Topic Title Edited:  Was "Heather"  Valve, now "Heater" Valve.

(I couldn't see flowers passing through a valve.)  :proud:

Installed the "London Taxi" type of valve (as Firstforward suggested), no leakage and operates as it should be.

Good quality (metal) valve and 100% compatible with the original "plastic" type of heater valve.

Thanks....

I wasn't aware of any issue with the later plastic inline type valves (apart from availability, as they do seem in rather short supply). The issue seems to the with the earlier metal head mounted taps/valves, in fact some people are replacing these with the later plastic in line type as they seem more reliable.
