Im in the process of replacing the wheel cylinders (rear) on my 1980 mini 1000. I havent done it before but i have ordered part no gwc1102 from nottingham mini bits. Having compared the new cylinder with the original, i notice that the body of new one is slightly smaller in size. See photos.Have i ordered the correct ones??? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

You just need to measure the bore size and make sure it's the same. Practice on the old one - just pull the rubber boot away on one side and the piston will just come straight out.

They should also match on each side of the car.

Matt.

According to the Parts Book they are supposed to be 3/4" dia (the cylinder, not the piston), P/N GWC1102. Sounds like you have the correct ones, but just a heads up that the bleed nipple on many of the new ones are now Metric.
