Hi guys,

I have a question about the ignition timing of a 999 compared to a 1275 metro A+.

I have a trigger wheel and sensor bracket to fit to my 1300 megajolt engine build which is underway but I want to fit them and the rest of the megajolt set up to my existing 998cc first to verify my wiring and ignition components work correctly before fitting it to my brand new build.

I would like to know if the crank position will be similar between the two engines before I fit it to the 998, as for my trigger wheel I need to file one of the teeth off at the right position in relation to the sensor. It only needs to be similar as I can input a slight correction into the megajolt.

Any help or insight would be appreciated.

James

As long as you put the sensor in the same place on both engines the tooth will be in the same place.

OK Thanks for that.

I thought that would be the case but it's nice to know for sure.
