get a push button cup holder out off a vectra and glue  it underneath the radio. problem solved

What car is that out of? Looks like a great plan. I've got a Vectra C one I was going to fit in a centre console, but think it'll clash with the gearstick.

What car is that out of? Looks like a great plan. I've got a Vectra C one I was going to fit in a centre console, but think it'll clash with the gearstick.

It's not out a car in particular, it's for people changing from a double din head unit, this fills the gap nicely.

Just google single din cup holder.

I'm going down the Bluetooth route for the sounds, connecting the amp to a Bluetooth speaker with a jack to RCA lead.
I'll then put this into the existing stereo slot in the walnut dash.

I stuck a rear cup holder from a Vectra C under the radio housing of my 30 with a few blobs of silicone sealer.

 

does the trick and holds 2 full maccies drinks no problem (was a little weary at first though mind :shy:)

 

few quid off ebay from a breakers.

I'd get some pics up but I'm at work...
