There are 1000's of companies that will chare from bout £6 - £40 to decode a radio, but i wondered could it be done yourself? I dont understand how they can do it but us muggles cant! Any idea where they get the codes? or do they just flick a little switch inside, and set a new one?
Reason i asked is i lost my code but kinda want to listen to my radio!
Blaupunkt Vauxhall Cavalier, if anyone has anyideas!

I have absolutely no idea how they do it, but I'd be very suprised if you could teach yourself!
IMO it's a worthwhile investment to make, as the car show really come with the code in the manual. We had to pay to find one for our 206 OEM stereo, after I messed around with the batt...it's been so handy since, when chopping and changing stuff!

i know with the older radios you could put the radio in the freezer and it would reset itself.
I did this a fair few year ago with a blaupunkt radio.
if you are lucky the code will be written on the label on top of it.

Recently needed to re code a ford radio. Contacted brother in law who runs a garage in liverpool. He has a CD with all the codes on it for fords, just had to give him the radio serial number off the back, and he told me the code for free, £10 to customers.
He bought the cd off ebay!
