If you don't mind black, buy paint for a barbecue grill.
Most aerosol automotive high-temp paints have very few solids and a limited amount of binder. They look good at first and quickly flake off. Barbecue paint, particularly brush-on paint, has a much higher solids and binder content and stays put. Don't be put off by any seemingly "lower" maximum temperature rating listed on the can... the barbecue paint will survive manifold and header use.

Wilko BBQ paint is meant to be quite good and reasonably priced

VHT engine paint works on one of mine.
As does the auto K brake caliper silver.
It's still on, even after overheating the manifold ( very bad timing, was around 20 of 'delay' instead of advance... red hot manifold, still the paint survived..

We sprayed the steel part of a manifold with some halfords aluminium rattle can VHT paint. The engines been run a couple of times now up to temp and the painted bit still looks exactly the same.
Car isn't finished and on the road yet so not sure how well it'll hold up when getting dirty etc, but it's looking promising so far.
