As title, looking for a decent cam in good condition. I need to put the engine build I've got going on together sooner than expected. Wasn't planning on buying new just yet and don't really want to put the standard cam back in.
I'm in Doncaster, postage would be ideal unless you're local then I can pick up

To get the best from a 276 you will need a bit more engine prep, the other 2 are milder so not so mmuch revs needed.

Thanks for the advice, it's not a standard engine it's going into, it's +60 with a worked head so I shouldn't really have problems

The 276 need a lot more revs to get maximum power so a balanced.tufrided crank with a centre main strap would be a bonus, not essential but helpful to ensure good bottom end mileage.

All it's for is just because I'm having to use the 1330 already and wasn't expecting to just yet. The 1275 that's in will then be rebuild and used for my supercharged build, a full expensive build right now isn't really what I need, I'd just rather get a little more out of the 1330 that I've already spent money on, without spending too much more basically

Bumping this, the 'low mileage' cam I bought off here was basically scrap metal. So I'm still on the lookout. Please don't mess me about with substandard parts, I really don't have the time to be looking for and waiting on delivery of parts for them to show up and be worn to a point where a standard cam has bigger lobes

I've had my fingers burned by dodgy second hand cams too.

Why not get one of the reground cams from mini speed? They do a 266,276 and I think a sw5 clone too. Just as cheap as a decent second hand cam and you won't get a lemon.

Alternatively take a look at the minispares evo1 (266 ish but with more lift) or evo2. I have the evo1 and really like it. They're both about £65 pre tmf+ discount.

I will look into it thanks. Main problem I'm having right now is that I've misplaced my bank card so PayPal or cash is kind of a must haha
