Hey guys, when I was driving to work this morning the car was running perfectly fine, however some times when I stopped at a junction it would all of a sudden stall as soon as I dipped the clutch, but this didn't happen all of the time, only occasionally? I tried using the choke to give it a bit extra idle but that didn't seem to help. The car itself was running fine, but the idle was a bit lower and slightly rough (would go up and down about 100 revs).

It's a 1989 Mayfair with a HS4 carb.

Anyone got any ideas? Many thanks!

Good point, by the time I drive it home later (if it doesn't rain!) it should be all dried out. And everything should be in good order, I think tomorrow I'll go over the ignition system (plugs, leads, dizzy cap etc) and I'll check the oil in the carb, check to see if it's sticking or anything.
