Hi all,
This maybe one for guessworks!
On a lot of modern gearboxes there is a spring loaded ball bearing in the selector arm that runs through grooves. As i'm not fully swept up on the Mini's how does it do the same role?
The reason i ask is mine is slipping out of 2nd. I did a few experiments where i tried to shock it out which only works a few times then if i'm cruising along in 2nd i can feel the gearstick move forward slowly out of gear to pop it into neutral, if i slowly pull back it goes back into the gear fully.
Any help or pictures would help me :)
Regards
Steve
