Basically I was looking around for my first big bike got to be restricted to 47bhp. And be no more than 94bhp from factory. So that got me searching and I fell in love with the older generation super sport bikes. The likes of th vfr 400, Honda cbt 400 etc.
And then I saw a gsxr 400 and knew that was the bike I had to have! (Insurance is as cheap as chips to) so yes I jumped in and found one abit of a journey away, from a lady owner. The bike looks to be immaculate! I'm going to be picking it up on Thursday, but I was just wondering if anyone knows much about them? Because there doesn't seem to be a great deal of stuff on the intranet.... :/

I had one about twenty years back, for a 400 they are great. Handling is amazing on them but does need to be set up well. Mine was fussy on tyres, it loved dunlops but I bet those tyres aren't available anymore anyway. I also had an NC24 briefly and the gixxer was a million times better.
NC24..... Now you're talking, I remember dads, mint, he was gutted when it was pinched out the garage.

yup, but we're uglier than the nc30, I would still love an NC30 (or better still an Rc30!)I had one about twenty years back, for a 400 they are great. Yeah I did find that one, but at first glance, even when you read about the bikes it's all about the Honda nc30 and nc35?
