Hi!

Anyone got the flowbench results of the maniflow hs2 inlet manifold?

As I always read its so much better than the original cast alloy manifold?

And won't a steel manifold like maniflow's rust like the exhaust manifold does?

thanks peeps :3

The Maniflow (and similar ones) work better because they have a smaller 'balance' pipe, I don't think (but happy to be corrected) that there's much difference in CFM flow.

The stock one with that silly huge log of a balance pipe tends to make one carb do all the work and they other a token effort.

Steel inlet manifolds don't rust like exhausts do.

Inlets stay cool, exhaust can get red hot. So the paint stays put on inlet manifold and stops rusting.

Vizards book quotes standard cast with 1 1/2 su flowing 92.8 cfm , and a maniflow 5" steel inlet with 45 flowing 119.4  cfm .

Not a direct comparison .

The difference between something like a minispares alloy unit and a maniflow , both for the same SU will be negliable .
