Hi im 17 and insuring my 998cc 1989 mini for a first car.

What is the cheapest company to insure it with?

This would probably be better placed in the Insurance section. 

 

However personally I would suggest ringing up every and any classic insurance that you can think of.

Try a couple of comparison sites to as this can pop up other companies that would insure. 

 

I would always recommend ringing them up and speaking to someone so you can clarify everything. 

Make sure you get an agreeded value, and I would highly recommend you go fully comp too. 

Others are optionally extras but there is always some extra things they try to tempt you with.

 

Peter James and Adrian Flux were the only two to offer quotes when I got my first classic at the age of 20, and that was due to my age. Then again I think a mini can be a bit easier to insure.

Moved to insurance area, where you'll also find numerous previous threads about classic mini insurance for 17 year olds, it's probably the most common subject that comes up there.
