Hello all

 

I have my old Desmo Roofrack for sale.

 

Here is a picture of the type (its not not mine in this picture as mine is disassembled ready to post)

 

 

 

This is the actual thing ready to parcel up. It shines up pretty good but I can't find my metal polish so thats up to the new owner

 

It has some strips of rubber that I cut and put over the metal parts to protect the gutter

 

remnants of the old desmo sticker which I have tried to keep on because I like it!

 

 

I will pack it and post but its a funny shape so might be quite expensive.

 

I would like £45.00 for it collected from Bournemouth otherwise we can arrange postage and as I am currently out of work I can be around to wait a for a courier no problem.

Sorry to Daniel Moody but collection is just a bit easier as I said its a funny shape to post!

 

(just as a side note this roof rack doesn't have wooden slats nor any provision for them. I have seen them with wood added afterwards by people but I am pretty sure desmo didn't release this rack with any wood originally)

The VW guys add wood to their racks but the 4000 did not come with wood as standard. The 4006 Explorer came "Beautifully finished with polyurethane varnished hardwood slats". I just like the scantily dressed chick serving no purposes but to draw the men's eyes :)

Thanks for that picture yes mine is indeed the non-slatted version. I have seen the 'homemade' wood slat versions but they don't really do it for me

That wouldn't be a problem I'd just need to manufacture some kind of box for it. Tell you what if I don't hear from SuperDeLuxeNick in the next hour or so I will contact you so we can arrange a courier.
