I'm trying to pre plan and find out where my nearest "Mini Friendly" garages are and a rolling road?

Looking to do a engine rebuild and a stage 1 kit (once I find a mini!). If someone has personal experience with any, even better!

Dan

I would say its worth taking the trip to ML motorsport in rochester, its the other side of the river, but AC Dodd knows his onions!

Mowatts at the top of Pound Lane just off the A127 know their Minis and have a rolling road, a few Essex Mini Club members have used them with success.

I don't know how far they go with engine building etc though.

Matt.

I've seen ML Motorsport recommended but never thought they were that close.

I'll take a look at mowatts too, see what they can do

Ray at T&M electrical in Colchester. Really nice guy and got my mini running superb. Best money I've spent on the mini.

More of a regular garage work garage than a performance tuning shop, but Alma Motors in Leigh on Sea are Mini friendly and a bunch of decent guys.

Quest motorsport in rochford / stambridge. Hes well into his classics and really passionate about helping people, usually plays with modified cars / engine swaps but very useful if needing custom parts made!

Didnt realize Mowat was still going, they would be good, Jon Mowat, ex mini racer and frend of Vizard.

T&M were good, but unfortunatly Ray has recently retired, I dont think they do RR any more, not sure if they are even still open.

I wouldn't mind picking someone's brain in person about afew things! I've finally got a day off tomorrow so will pop in to afew, this one will be my first stop as I'll be round the corner
