Hi Guys,

My name is Max, and I am the computer guy here at Bilt-Hamber Laboratories.

If anyone needs any help or advice when it comes to our products or general auto detailing, I'd be happy to help.

Just shoot me a PM with your questions or create a thread and let me know about it and I'll get right on the case!

Thanks guys,

Max Johnson,
Bilt-Hamber Laboratories

Hi Max, welcome to TMF. I have spoken to Peter Hamber on a few occasions and he is a very knowledgeable guy to say the least and is alsways very helpful. And various bits of your range have kept my cars rust free, or returned them to rust free! As said above, a TMF discount would be brilliant

+1
A year or so ago phoned up to place an order but had a query about the best solution to my issue. No problem sales lady says I'll get one of the Technical people to phone you back. 10 minutes later after a good discussion ordered Deox plus electrox and recently bought S50 wax for my Japanese împort.
Top gear and advice, wouldn't go anywhere else now as service counts over price in my book and made in UK too.
Only problem if we get a discount is I'll be buying more of the range

Discount on bilthamber?.... this could be good... and bad!  I am obsessed with this stuff. I keep thinking about new places to spray the dynax UC. Agree with FS, it is great stuff. I have it under front arches, back arches, floor, sills, hinge panels, inside the boot, compartment bins, rear valance.....

I just don't want this mini to rust like the last one!  :ohno:

I've purchased quite a lot of the rust treatments i even received a free tub of Deox C at one point ;-)

The Electrux is fantastic stuff infact all of the rust treatment range is, To what I've used up to yet anyway !!

My van was fully treated with a number of products, deox gel, deox c, hydrate 80, dynax s50, dynax uc, electrux and my future builds will to.

Highly recommended, Just read some of there awards on the website ;-)

A forum discount would be great !!

I have one question to raise if that's OK. As mentioned above, I have used Dynax UC extensively on the underside of the car. I have also used it on the wheelarch lips on the external bodywork.  I have noticed that in the odd area where water pools - for example at the bottom of the wheel arches on the wing / A panel where it meets the top of the sill area, that after a while if a puddle of water sits on the wax, the wax turns a yellow colour and appears to soften it. If you press on the wax, water drops come out and the wax comes away easily.

Now I must admit that in these areas, the wax has also pooled as it has run down to the lowest point, so that rather than a thin film in these areas, I have a thicker wax coating. I am hoping that it is just the 'excess' wax which is being affected by this, and that there is still a thin film coating which is adhered to the metalwork which will be protecting it. However I would be interested in hearing BH's view on this.
