Hi All,

 

I just got a HIF44 from the local scrappy. It's from a 1300 Maestro.

 

Unfortunately the throttle & choke levers are oriented so that the cables enter from the back (air filter elbow side) of the carb (there is an abutment plate screwed to the carb elbow).

 

My question is: can I re position the old linkage for use with a mini abutment plate so the cables enter from the top as standard?

 

If not, can I fit the throttle / choke levers from my HS4 carb to the HIF44?
