I'm new to the mini scene, can anyone help me with the following question. Will a MG Midget engine 1275cc fit onto a 1100cc mini gearbox?

Many thanks phil

However with a bit of this that and the other it can be done, but you basically need the majority of a mini 1275 engine... It's really only worth doing if you have a 1275 engine with a bust block and a bit of machine time...

Worth more as a midget engine.

Crank, flywheel, clutch all different as is oil pickup

Rear end cap probably .. totally different on Midget.

Probably not cost effective seeing as there are Mini engines around
