Doing some work on the cylinder head and replacing the water pump. I saw Hylomar Universal Blue being applied to the rocker gasket in a youtube clip, so picked some up for that, but wondering if I should also apply it to any of the other gaskets, like the water pump, thermostat housing, inlet/carb gasket?

Cheers

All gaskets should be ok dry. There are some where it's a bad idea, such as where the gasket's thickness effects machined clearances or there are high temperatures.

Rocker cover gaskets usually leak because they are overtightened, but some sealant to glue the cork to the cover before fitting can make it easier to keep it in place.
