Hi all, just wondered if any of you has used the product to protect your mini? From what I have read on Smart water it seems outstanding.

Hi i pay for the smartwater in my campervan and my work van,but not my mini yet i have only owned it for about 4 months.and i spend alot on security because some scum stole my work van about 1and 1/2 years ago.(hope something really really bad happened to the scum)costing me months of lost work and i will be paying for my van for the next 2 year.i am only a floorlayer.i think i might put the the scum off because its hard to get rid of all of it and i know the police always look for it with ultra violet lights.the smartwater is almost like super glue so you put it everywhere.i have a uv light and the stuff i put on when i got my new van is still there.

Personally I would consider deterrents to stop them taking the car rather than to help with retrieval after the (possible) theft, such as a decent alarm or steering locks etc. Have you looked into trackers?
