should be fine yes, change every 3000miles
to keep engine in tip top condition
however I have tried a few and use Valvoline vr1 20 50
keeps realy good oil pressure better than the rest

3000 miles seems a little short. An A+ is a 12,000 interval as standard. I personally wouldnt change more regularly than 6,000 miles/12 months.

I agree, I have the proof of a 140K mileage that is still going strong, always changed at 6-8K.

I have just put this oil in my mini, so will be interested to see how it performs. I personally would change oil at 6,000 mls max as the oil has a hard time in a mini as it is also doing the work of gear box oil and is more liekly to pick yp swarf. I know there are oils with EP addatives (Extreme Pressure) to aid with gear shifting in the classic mini - I think Penrite make it and it got good reviews in Practical Classis, I believe (this is from memory though).

I run it in mine and its good oil maintains good pressure when hot.
