What 10" forest tyres are available?

Those of you who are regular competitors what do you use?

Maxsport do the Hakka in 10".

 

I use maxsport's 12" RB1.....its an ok tyre, but there is little other choice so beggars can't be choosers.  Best thing is they are cheap....I have had 2 fail and delaminate though, but any issues were sorted by my supplier and a replacement sorted.

 

Minisport have started doing their own 'rally tyre' but no photo on their website yet. They are not cheap, but compared to full size 15" rally tyres they are alright value.  Think they are made in france and imported - Minisport were very tight lipped about them when I enquired.....almost verging on useless!!! Asked for a photo of them so i could see the tread pattern......no useful response......asked where they are made so I could track down the tread pattern.....again no useful response.

 

There is also a company in Finland called the 'Black Rocket Tyre Co' (or something like that) that make a 10" and 12" rally tyre.....looks like a decent tread pattern but not cheap.

I have a set ready for this weekends rally of North Wales but after testing I would like to see what else is available.
Choices seem rather limited. But if mini sport are offering a tyre it might be worth looking at as they are backing the championship.

Think the msa have clamped down tyres now with a control tyres (list 6) on any sizes over 12" for use on forest rallies, plus I think you not aloud to cut them any more in any size.

If you happen to get any more info off Minisport, can you please post some photo's on here of what these mystery tyres look like.

 

You are certainly right with the 'limited choice' comment.....we mini owners are very limited with choice....even worse with competition tyres.
