Hi folks,

I think this has already been asked, but I tried searching for it in vain, so apologies if this is a repeated question !

I'm after some alloys and tyres, preferrably a package. Unfortunately a deal fell through on here, so I will probably end up going new.

After 10" x 5 or 10" x 6 (probably 5's) minilite style alloys, and either A032 or A008's. I thought I had found just the package on midland wheels site, good price etc - they are JBW wheels. However I then googled and found a few bad reviews of JBW from midland.

With that in mind, any suggestions of places to go - or opinions about JBW  / MWS ?  Have looked on Mini spares, wouldn't use mini sport to be honest.

Thanks ! :)

I ordered from midland last week, a set of 5.5x13's JBL's, arrived next day and look great. What kind of reviews have they been getting that put you off?

Here is one thread about them, admittedly a few years ago, I have seen others. General jist seems to be speculating they are cheap imports, and issues around tyre fitment and not lasting (lacquer peel etc):

Am I right in saying that their minilight style wheels are minators? The center caps seem to suggest they are, but the description doesn't actually say minator :

Be careful when ordering from Huddersfield, give them a ring if you intend to buy wheels as I've just found out the order I placed last week they don't have in stock yet their website did not reflect this.
