silly question ! how are the hub caps held onto the wheels on the reverse rims 10 x 4.5 ?

as i asked a chap on ebay selling stainless hub caps and he said as long as its a 10" wheel and you have the lugs/studs to snap the hub cap over it will fit fine ?

i though reverse rim caps were different?

Reverse rim wheels used to be fitted with the centre-only mini van hubcaps.

So what holds them on?

The lugs built into the pressing on the centre hold the cap on.

My 10's have lugs /lips on the wheel itself

Although my S rims are not reverse they are standard Cooper S my clubman caps fitted perfectly.
