Hi all my wipers are now working the block had fallen apart
But now the offside rear ligjt glows when the indicator is on I've checked all I can see and can't spot anything obvious I think it's an earth problem but I'm not an auto electrician
Please help if you can or you've had a similar problem

Bad earth at the light circuit

The light units are new ones from mini spares so could well be

Sounds like a short somewhere on or near the rear light cluster, I had a similar problem years ago and it was a plastic block in the boot which all the wiring spade connectors clipped into to keep them separate. There was a crack across it allowing all the wires to short together sometimes.

I have new units from Ms and each connection is soldered by me and has heat shrink around It
Someone who knew what they were doing would sort it in minutes
I'll have another look and report back

Weird light effects is usually a bad earth.

Check all joints....even at the front.......
